Solterra wines:

Our wines are currently marketed under the "Alto de los Zorros" brand and in three versions: oak, with a minimum aging of 7 months in barrel; Aging, with aging in barrel of 14 months, and author, with maturity in barrel of 16 months.

Approximately 70% of our barrels are of French oak and the rest, of American oak.

Ageing
19 months in french and american oak barrels.

Winemaking
Temperature controlled fermentation between 25-27ºC. Long maceration seeking maximum extraction of polyphenols for a wine with long bottle life. This wine was made with a selection of our best grapes from our estates “El Cerro” and “La Redonda”.

Tasting notes

Colour: Intense ruby red color with ruby edge.
Aroma: Deep and complex. Typical mineral character of the terroir. Fruits, black currant, with raspberry hints, coffee, toffee and vanilla. Good balance between wood and fruit.
Taste: Complex and full, round, fl eshy. Long rounded mouth. Ripe fruits, licorice and toast.
